Arctic Bay's Space Program had a successful launch early this afternoon. Space Exploration Program Head
Clare and Astronaut-in-Training Travis successfully sent their rocket into orbit this afternoon. The rocket soared high into the sky before it's parachute ejected allowing it to safely float back down to the recovery site. The rocket was recovered successfully by the recovery team for a second launch.

LOL.
I think I would pay good money to see a sik-sik launched. Would have to put a button cam inside to watch that one.
:o)
Your pictures ROCK girl! I love the one of the rocket.
I think I would also pay good money to see that too Michele - heck, I would fund it!
Tina, that rocket photo was a great surprise after I uploaded them all to my machine - I didn't think I caught it. Sometimes my shutter finger does just get things timed just right. I'm glad I was able to capture it for Clare and Travis.
The sik sik space training program would make for a fantastic documentary...
No Sik Siks here though. HOWEVER, a Lemming would fit in that rocket with a clear payload bay. Hmmm... would that be ethical?
LOL - it's for the good of the space program Clare! ethics-smethics :-)
