My Name in Inuktitut

Thursday, November 29, 2007
There seems to be a little debate in my high school Media class on what my name actually is in Inuktitut ... We have two possible versions of my name. The first one is what my Media Class believes it should be, and the second one is the translation according to our specialists at school.

I have to say, I tend to agree with my Media students about the first one (partially because I like the 'ra' sound better than the 'la' sound ....)

Cool! How did you do the symbols?

I know there's at least 3 or 4 ways of spelling my last name in syllabics so I just picked one and claimed it as my own.

Nathan has his name in Inuktitut on his name tag and I think it comes out to being Nitan, which isn't that bad. But his co-worker whose name is Greg, in Inuktitut comes out to being GOOG, I don't think he wears his anymore lol.
I agree I like Kantura better, the other one sounds Starwars-esk. LOL
