Ahh, in 36 hours (give or take) and depending on the angle of the Earth / Sun and where I am positioned at the right moment, the sun should be making a much waited for appearance in Arctic Bay, peeking over the mountain tops ever so briefly sometime between 11:00 and 2:30 pm on Feb 6th. I SO CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I remember the sun showing up shortly before noon last year, although if it wants to delay until sometime between noon and 1pm, that would give me time to try to get a half decent picture.

Got that right Jen! It's about time the sun came back up here - even if it is only briefly. Have a good vacation! And soak up that Tropical Sun for us (and bring it back with you!)
