Delaware is so flat, this would be a mountain. Sleds don't sell well here..
Brrr. I live in Phoenix... and am cold just reading your blog. I wish upon you warm mittens and hot cocoa!
Sleds don't sell to well up here either, as the plastic ones just crack under the cold. Most of the kids use scrap pieces of wood, their butts or feet to slide around. Much like how I used to play on the school playground when I was a kid before krazy karpets (oh, the pain and joy of krazy karpets).

Old seal pelts and garbage bags work well too.
