It's only September and I can see snow

This is a new one for some one from down South .. snow in September! There isn't any on the ground here in Arctic Bay, but the tops of the mountains in the distance (not too far from here) have a nice covering of snow on them now. I know... I'm in the Arctic, there should be snow covering things duh - but still, it's pretty amazing and strange The temperature is now a little more chilly than what it was a week ago (think mid-October temps down south) - hats and mitts are beginning to be a part of the required gear to wear outside now.

Reminds me of the Rockies in summer. They are always snowcapped!
